Samurai series!

For the last 3 weeks, Samurai’s and Ninja’s were the children’s favorite encounters and stories. And of course to dress up as one was even better! We read and listened to “Night of the Ninja – Magic Treehouse” as well as cut and pasted Samurai pictures. A museum in Kudoyama, the Wakayma castle as well as the yearly famous parade of the Sanada clan (including the appearance of the TV series’ heroes) joined the pieces together between history and modern times.

After cycling 400 km in the historic Kansai area, it is now time for our Shikoku Henro (partial pilgrimage) by bicycle. Please excuse the brevity, energy levels are typically low in the evenings, after bringing the children to bed and after a few Kilometers and Altimeters in the legs 🙂
